Satu tahun setelah rilis resmi dari Office 2010 dan 8 bulan setelah versi SP1 Office 2010 bocor, akhirnya Microsoft merilis Office 2010 Service Pack 1 secara resmi yang dapat di download secara gratis. Microsoft hari ini mengumumkan bahwa telah merilis versi SP1 dari Office 2010 dan dapat di download melalui Microsoft Download center.

Microsoft telah meningkatkan stabilitas, perfoma, dan keamanan pada versi Service Pack 1 (SP1) dari Office 2010. Menurut blog resmi dari Office, pada Service Pack 1 ini membawa banyak perubahan menarik. Diantaranya sebagai berikut:
